      Engineered Veneers

      Engineered Veneers

Engineered veneer is real wood that has been carefully dyed to mimic other species.

The grain structure and species colour are adjusted using different dyes, moulds and slicing angles.

A convincing effect is achieved with variation in light reflection, grain pattern and texture.

Basswood, Poplar and Ayous are the core timbers used in this range.

These fast-growing woods have a large open pore structure that allow the dyes to permeate throughout the veneers.

Ideal for projects that require no variation, we recommend using engineered veneers when a standardised and consistent appearance is critical. Architects or designers can specify engineered veneers knowing that the finished product will match the initial sample.

Layons are 610mm wide and will be jointed, like natural veneer strips.

Our standard panel size is 2440 x 1220 (8x4) with other sizes available.
