When do we share your data?
We will share your data with 3rd party contractors that have a benefit to you, such as hauliers and couriers. We also only share your information with organisations who are acting on our behalf, for example, our accountants or if we are under duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with a legal obligation.
We do not share your data with any other company for marketing purposes.
What do we do with your data?
We process your data onsite at our premises at Specialised Panel Products, 8 Castle Gate, Castle Street, Hertford, Herts, SG14 1HD. The data is stored on an off-site secure server and our computer system and is password protected. Data is also stored in our filing system.
In processing our accounts, our accountants have access to our records for the sole purpose of auditing our financial records.
Our Sales/Purchasing and marketing team has access to your data to be able to process orders and to ensure correct paperwork is raised. From time to time we will let you know of our latest stock available.
How long do we keep your data?
We will keep all the information provided indefinitely even after our professional relationship has come to an end. All financial hard copies of data are kept for a period of 7 years then destroyed.
What are your rights?
You have the right to know the data we hold for you and the accuracy of that data. You can request a copy of the data we hold for you at any time. You also have the right to restrict the processing and request the deletion of your data.
Access to your Information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the act.
